This community and the businesses within it work hard to encourage people to shop small and local through programs and incentives such as Spend $25 on the 25th. the Shop Reseda discount card, and the many discounts that are given directly from individual businesses. This community was developed in 2008, after collecting more than 500 signatures from the 650 residents in the area, as a separate smaller agricultural neighborhood that is a part of Reseda, California. The existence of Reseda Ranch shows that when a community works together nothing is impossible and we as a community believe this is true. Kids and adults enjoy visiting the diverse group of businesses found in the strip malls of Reseda Ranch. You will find diving instruction and supply, barber shops, a leathercraft store, a glass repair shop, a cigarette/print shop a nail salon, a karate studio and a phone repair shop. (And that is JUST one of the complexes in this community. The community is also the host of the "Karate Kid" Building, an apartment complex where the original Karate Kid was filmed. There is a lot to see and even more to buy here in Reseda Ranch.
