The Carson Rd. is a beautiful main road that goes from Caribou to Perham. As a local potato farmer, I use this road to haul potatoes and oats to processing facilities and to home storages. Most of the farm's acerage lines the Carson Road from one end to the other. There isn't a day that goes by from May until November that a tractor or large potato truck traveling the road isn't hard at work to feed America. I would use the money to update and build diversion ditches to prevent precious top soil from running into the ditch and out of the field. Another need of the farm is to build/update storages. With the rapid decline of farms in Aroostook County, it makes every one of us more and more important. It also makes the need for larger storages a necessity. Thank you for considering the Carson Rd.!
